The 2009 Computing Frontiers conference will be held at the Hotel Continental Terme in Ischia.
Special rates for rooms are available for conference participants. Please note, in case more convenient rates are advertised on the hotel web site when you make your reservation, you are entitled to be charged for the best available rate for the room you choose. So before booking, check the hotel web site and ask for the best offer when you book your room.

The Hotel Continental Terme is 1km from the Ischia Porto (also referred as just Ischia) that is the closest harbour. The other harbours in Ischia are: Casamicciola and Forio. There is a shuttle service connecting Ischia Porto to the hotel (you need to book it with the hotel using the transfer form). At Ischia Porto, taxis and picturesque microtaxis are also available (Please, ask for the price before you get in. There is a fix tarif they should charge for that is around € 12).
Ischia island is connected to Naples through frequent ferry and hydrofoil service departing from three harbours: molo (wharf) Beverello (both hydrofoils and ferries), Mergellina porto (hydrofoils), and Napoli Porta di Massa (only ferries). Be aware that transportation services are not available in the evening.
Hydrofoils take approximately 50 minutes from Naples to Ischia; price is around € 17 (one-way). Ferries take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes from Naples to Ischia; ferry price is € 8.50 (one-way). For timetables, you can click here, or here. Daily flights connect London, Frankfurt, Munich and Paris to Naples and frequent flights connect Milan and Rome to Naples (Capodichino Airport). From Capodichino airport it is possible to reach molo Beverello by means of regional buses leaving every 60 minutes or by taxi. Naples is also reachable by train. There are two railway stations: Central Railway Station (Stazione Centrale F.S.) Piazza Garibaldi, close to Molo Beverello (but not at walking distance), and Mergellina Station (Stazione Mergellina), located at walking distance (around 15 minutes walking) from Mergellina porto.
